West Panama City Beach Florida is technically from Highway 79 W. to the border of Rosemary Beach and Powell Lake. This area spills over into Laguna Beach and Sunnyside but is primarily from Highway 79 encompassing Conservation Park and parts of Highway 30 and Highway 98.

There are shops, restaurants and markets all up and down Panama City Beach’s West end. The Aqua Vista is one of the first condominium complexes and resorts that you come to just off of Highway 79. As you travel west along the beach and Front Beach Road you’ll find modern conveniences and the cities such as a CVS pharmacy, Winn-Dixie, markets and liquor stores. Whiskeys saloon is right across the street from the colorful townhouses at 17185 Front Beach Road. The beach is literally on the other side and Sand Castles West is located on the opposite side of the road right next to Classic Rentals.
Classic Rentals is perfect for renting a golf cart, scooter or other smaller motorized vehicles for getting around the city. It’s ideal for a day tour or rented for the week. Right across the street from this is the beautiful Palazzo condominiums and resort. This high-rise tower is perfect for family vacation or a romantic getaway.
Right across the street from the Palazzo is the Boers Had restaurant. Happy hour starts at 4:30 PM with earlybird specials, lunch and brunch buffets and fantastic stakes, seafood and prime rib.
Making away a little further up the beach is the Lakes at Summer Breeze. This residential community has beautiful homes and townhouses starting about $300,000.
Seachase is next on the beach side of the road with beautiful high-rise condominiums, swimming pools and a great location for your vacation getaway. On one side is the beautiful Gulf of Mexico and on the other is the Lagoon overlooking the Lakes at Summer Breeze.
The Sandpiper is up next on the last or at the beach side with shops and restaurants close by and right across the street. With waterslides, swimming pools and of course the beach right out front, this is a great place to cool off, relax and have lots of entertainment. There’s an ice cream and yogurt shop attached to the building so your next snack is always close by. Right across the street is the Coconuts restaurant perfect for beer, burgers, seafood and pizza.
The Landmark Resort is just past the Sandpiper Resort features a high-rise condominium hotel. Just be on that is Pier 69, Panama City Beach’s public access. This is right next to Emerald Isle Resort. This gorgeous high-rise resort is located on the beach side with stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico and the entire city skyline. Right across the street is Café Mike’s Oyster Bar. Pull up here for some of the best oysters in the city.
Just after Emerald Isle is a long stretch of beachfront rezoning, so it’s about two or three blocks to the nearest resort from this point. Tropic Wins is up next is the next high-rise along Front Beach Road but remember, most of these resorts have their own restaurants and entertainment so you don’t need to travel far for your next meal.
You can’t miss Splash condominiums just up on the left. This the rebuilding metropolis features all the entertainment you could possibly want with multiple swimming pools, splash entertainment, shops, restaurants and activities for kids and families alike.
